One of the shining jewels of the Denver Broncos off-season is ready to go. Russell Wilson made the headlines as the biggest addition for the Broncos, but defensive end Randy Gregory is a new piece to the Denver defense. He’s back and healthy. That’s huge news for the Broncos.

Gregory will be a key component to the Broncos’ shot at winning the AFC West. It is hands-down the toughest division in football. Rushing the passer will be paramount against the likes of Mahomes, Herbert, and Carr. That’s just in his division, too. It doesn’t include other AFC quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow.

Gregory had six sacks and four tackles for loss a season ago. He will look to improve upon those numbers this season in a new uniform. His health will be vital to the defensive line of Denver. He and Bradley Chubb must deliver off the edge in order for the Broncos to achieve what they want to in 2022.
