The Denver Broncos haven’t had the best luck at training camp thus far, after having two players have season-ending injuries.

Both Tim Patrick, the fifth-year receiver, and Damarea Crockett, the second year running back were placed on the Bronco’s injured reserve list after tearing their ACL during Tuesday’s padded practice.

Tim Patrick was a vital piece of the offense last year, as he finished with over 700 yards receiving and five touchdowns. As for Crockett, he had just three rush attempts on the year for seven total yards. Crockett didn’t get much run, as the Broncos had one of the best running back duos in the league.

On Wednesday, after placing the two on IR, the Broncos signed undrafted free agent running back Max Borghi out of Washington State.

Borghi finished with 2,158 rushing yards in 39 career games at Washington State. He also finished with 1,134 receiving yards in those 39 games. Borghi finished with 32 rushing touchdowns, and nine receiving touchdowns in his college career.

Broncos Country will love a guy like Borghi.
