There’s a head coaching vacancy in Denver. The Broncos need a new captain of the ship.
In San Francisco, they’re still playing football. The 49ers are one of the best teams in football, and they’re still alive in the postseason.
The Niners have one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL as well.
At the helm, head coach Kyle Shanahan and DC DeMeco Ryans are two of the brightest young minds in coaching right now. Ryans is a candidate for multiple HC jobs around the league right now.
The Broncos are interviewing Ryans today.

Ryans, a former player, is viewed as one of the top soon-to-be first-time head coaches in the NFL.
Ryans was a potential candidate for a head coaching vacancy last season, but he chose to stay in The Bay.
Now, he could take a job, and the Broncos would make plenty of sense.
The only risk is that he has never been a head coach in the NFL before, and their last hire hadn’t either.
That being said, Ryans is more proven than Hackett ever was before being hired by the Broncos. He has led the Niners to being a top defense for multiple seasons.
Even with questionable depth on their roster in the secondary, the 49ers are one of the most well-rounded units in the NFL. They are a big reason that they’re still playing in the postseason currently.
Ryans brings a unique dynamic to any team that he joins as well. At just 38 years old, he’s still a youthful coach. His energy is undeniable, but don’t let that distract you from his play-calling and leadership.
Ryans’ players love him, and he’d be a great hire for the Broncos if they choose him.
