The Denver Broncos spent up for an elite pass rusher during the off-season. It was a risky move, but Randy Gregory has been worth every penny so far for the Broncos.
Randy Gregory already has 15 pressures for the #Broncos in three games.— Marcus Mosher (@Marcus_Mosher) September 26, 2022
He's been everything they could have hoped for so far.
Along with the 15 pressures, Gregory also has two sacks and two forced fumbles. He has been the cornerstone on the defensive line that they were hoping they would get.
In their last game against the 49ers, Gregory was unstoppable. He consistently took Mike McGlinchey and his backup to school. The new edge rusher for the Broncos has been a vital addition.

-bullied McGlinchey all game, drew an early holding
-first play with the backup LT, Randy embarrasses him
-Good lord he just ran straight over McGlinchey

Alongside Bradley Chubb, the Broncos have a very formidable duo off the edge. Chubb has three sacks and a forced fumble through three games. Both have been playing very well for the Broncos. Going forward, their dominance for the Broncos only makes it easier on the back end of the defense.
The secondary is extremely talented, but they aren’t completely healthy. In a very competitive AFC, every level of defense must perform against some of the best QBs in the NFL.
That starts with Gregory and co. for the Broncos.
