The offense for the Denver Broncos has had its bumps in the road so far. That being said, one star is emerging. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton is on a career-best pace for yardage. He is also elite at garnering pass interference calls.

Sutton’s big play ability is showing up in multiple ways. On one hand, he is making explosive plays downfield. Even when those passes are not being completed, Sutton is making life difficult for defenders. That’s forcing them to commit penalties.

Those yards are very valuable as well, and the Broncos are able to stay on schedule.

Sutton can play the D.K. Metcalf role for QB Russell Wilson. Being the big-body, athletic target is vital for Wilson and the Broncos going forward. They have to be able to push the ball down the field.

He’s their best option for it, and a deep duo of Sutton and K.J. Hamler provides nice depth. They win in different ways, but they are both explosive.

It should be exciting to watch him continue to make plays for the Broncos. A healthy Sutton makes a huge difference for the upside in Denver.
