The Denver Broncos need everyone possible healthy for their game against the Seattle Seahawks.
During Thursday’s practice, there were several Broncos players that were either limited participation or did not participate at all.
Outside linebacker Randy Gregory (shoulder and knee), receiver K.J. Hamler (Knee and hip), inside linebacker Josey Jewell (calf), and offensive lineman Billy Turner (knee) were all limited on Thursday.
Inside linebacker Jonas Griffith was a full participant, as he has been dealing with a dislocated elbow.
The Broncos are dealing with some injuries to some very key players. In fact, everyone that made the injury report is a starter. They definitely need to get some of these solved before Sunday. The Seahawks likely won’t be a contending team this year with no Russell Wilson, but they can still beat the Broncos. After all, this is the NFL.
As for the Seattle Seahawks, their injury report was a bit different.
Kenneth Walker, the Seahawk’s new running back is dealing with a hernia and did not practice on Thursday. Tyler Ott who is dealing with a shoulder injury and Artie Burns who is dealing with a groin injury also did not practice.
Offensive tackle Jake Curhan (elbow), guard Damien Lewis (knee and ankle), cornerback Sidney Jones (concussion), linebacker Boye Mafe (shoulder), and safety Ryan Neal (ankle) all were limited for the Seahawks on Thursday.
The Seahawks list is pretty big, whereas the Broncos have a few on theirs. That’s a good thing, as the Broncos usually struggle with the injury bug.
Now, they have an advantage over the Seahawks on Monday.
