Aaron Rodgers made a puzzling statement after the Green Bay Packers‘ 14-12 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Rodgers told reporters that he saw something that shouldn’t have been shown on the jumbotron in Tampa and he passed that information along to his defense.

We have no idea what Rodgers is referencing, but the assumption is that it had to do with Tampa’s failed two-point conversion that would’ve sent the game to overtime.

The Buccaneers had a delay of game penalty before attempting the game-tying two-point conversion. It’s possible that Green Bay’s defensive alignment caused that delay of game, though that’s just speculation.

If the scoreboard operator really did something that led to Green Bay’s defense stopping that two-point play, then he’ll probably be looking for a new job by Monday morning.

And he can thank Aaron Rodgers for costing him his gig as the scoreboard operator in Tampa.
