Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made a comment this week that was probably unsettling for fans.

The Packers’ defense has been dominating the offense so far during training camp.

On Tuesday, Rodgers was asked when the offense might turn the tables on the defense.

Rodgers isn’t so sure that the offense dominating the defense will happen.

“I don’t know if we’re going to,” said Rodgers (via SI.com). “I mean, they’re a talented bunch. I’d like to stalemate every day. I think that’s possible.”

That’s probably not what you want to hear if you’re hoping to see tons of points scored in 2022.

But before you freak out too much, take some past advice from Rodgers and R-E-L-A-X.

First off, there’s nothing to worry about when it comes to Green Bay’s offense. Sure, they lost wide receiver Davante Adams. And replacing him will certainly be a challenge. But the Packers still have the NFL’s reigning back-to-back MVP under center in Rodgers. Scoring points is not something that Packers fans should worry about.

Secondly, fans should be ecstatic that Green Bay’s defense is managing to stop a Hall of Fame quarterback in practice. If they can handle Rodgers, I’m pretty sure they can handle any quarterback they see this season.

The comments from Rodgers are what fans are hoping to hear from opposing quarterbacks throughout the 2022 season.

Based on training camp, I’d say there’s a good chance that’s exactly what we hear this year.
