GREEN BAY – The Packers enter the 2022 NFL Draft with a sharp eye on some needed upgrades at certain positions and after the first 10 picks, there are plenty options left that work for them.

Below are the top-5 players available after the New York Jets selected Garrett Wilson with the 10th overall pick:

  • WR Jameson Williams – While it’s highly unlikely Williams drops to the Packers at 22 in the draft, he’s easily the best player that fits what the Packers are looking for. The Packers also have enough draft picks to move up and make a move for him, if the choose to do so.
  • LB Devin Lloyd – Yes, the Packers re-signed All-Pro linebacker De’Vondre Campbell and they successfully tendered Krys Barnes. However, Lloyd would add a dynamic element to the second level of the defense and would arguably give the Packers the best inside linebacker duo in the NFL.
  • DT Jordan Davis – Davis could take over the nose tackle spot, which would allow Kenny Clark to be even more disruptive than he already is. However, Dean Lowry is still in the fold and Jarran Reed should be a big contributor in 2022. Regardless, Davis is still one of the top players available.
  • G Zion Johnson – Johnson is arguably the best guard in the draft and the Packers need help at the position. David Bahktiari’s return and Elgton Jenkin’s prowess at left tackle in 2021 likely leaves the Packers looking for interior offensive line help in this draft.
  • WR Chris Olave – Like Williams, it’s likely Olave won’t be around at 22, but the Packers have the draft capital to move and get him if they want.
