The Green Bay Packers‘ season obviously isn’t going as planned.

Green Bay is 3-5 and doesn’t look anywhere close to being a Super Bowl contender.

It’s not unusual in underachieving seasons like the one the Packers are experiencing for there to be some locker room drama.

Fortunately for Green Bay, that doesn’t appear to be an issue — at least not when it comes to the quarterback and the head coach, which is the most important duo for the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers made his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday and he was asked about his relationship with Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur.

Specifically, Rodgers was asked if his relationship with LaFleur is different this season.

Rodgers admitted that the relationship between him and LaFleur is different this year.

But don’t fret, Rodgers said it’s actually better this season.

Rodgers also pointed out how much he appreciates his relationship with LaFleur.

This is good news for Packers fans. It doesn’t mean that anything is going to get fixed this season — Green Bay has a lot of problems right now — but at least the environment isn’t toxic.

Because once things go toxic, there’s usually no coming back from it.

Rodgers and LaFleur have plenty of work to do, but at least they’re on the same page.
