Packers star gives us one of the best moments of the NFL offseason

Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon gave us one of the best moments of the offseason this past week.

Well, one of the best moments for everyone except the Kenosha Kingfish mascot.

Dillon was recently at a Kingfish minor league baseball game and he took part in an “Oklahoma Drill” with the Kenosha mascot.

And let’s just say that Dillon left no doubt that he’s an NFL player.

Dillon absolutely destroyed the Kingfish mascot — literally knocking off his head.

Check it out:

Dillon, who will be reporting to Packers training camp soon, looks to be in midseason form. And the fish mascot looks like he’s probably ready to retire after taking a vicious hit from a 247 lb running back.

Speaking of the mascot, the man in the suit, Trey Meier, is actually a college athlete.

According to The Athletic, Meier is a member of the men’s cross country team at Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

“I will tell you, it’s not easy to move and it’s not easy to see out of that costume,” said Meier to The Athletic this week. “(The head) was actually strapped on, but I think it was too loose, and that’s why it came off. I don’t think the video would’ve gone as viral if my head didn’t come flying off.”

Meier is all good after the hit. Dillon checked on him to make sure he wasn’t hurt before taking some photos with the Kingfish intern.
