That matchup, however, got a lot easier on Monday.
And that’s because Buccaneers star wide receiver Mike Evans has been suspended one game for his involvement in a fight with New Orleans Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore this past weekend.
It’s the second time Evans has been suspended for an incident involving Lattimore.

Evans was suspended one game for a previous fracas with Lattimore in 2017.

This will still be a tough game for the Packers. The Bucs’ defense is playing well and will certainly be more challenging than what the Chicago Bears presented last Sunday.
But the fact that Evans — one of the best players in the NFL — won’t be on the field will certainly make things easier for Green Bay.
The Packers are hoping to improve to 2-1 while the Bucs will be looking to push their record to 3-0. Kickoff is set for 3:25 PM CT/4:25 PM ET.
