With everything that has transpired for the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason, the notion is they still aren’t scared of the challenge. They definitely aren’t backing down, according to a Chiefs’ Pro Bowler.

The Chiefs have been through a lot this offseason. When I say a lot, imagine parting ways with the greatest receiver your team has ever had. It’s something that can be tough, for both sides. Even if they both have different ways of showing it.

With all the new signings and the rookies drafted this year, the team is ready. 2021 is in the past, and Mecole Hardman and company are looking to take on the challenge in 2022.

Chiefs not scared of the challenge 2022 brings

On Friday, NFL.Com’s Good Morning Football show interviewed Hardman and asked him a few different things. They asked him what he thought about the offense and the statement Justin Reid made about scoring 100 points. They also asked Hardman how he felt about the challenge 2022 may bring with the new faces they have on their squad.

Here is Hardman’s quote:

“I mean, come on,” Hardman said with a bit of confidence when asked about the vibe of the team. “I think we are not shying away from it; we are definitely not scared.

“It is what it is. [There’s] no fear.”

Hardman is right, too. They shouldn’t be scared, and why would they? This is a team that has done it all, almost twice, in the last four years. They have been to four straight AFC Championships and won two of them. They have been to two Super Bowls and won one of them. This team should have that vibe, and they should be confident.

Despite all the things happening in the league and in the division, the Chiefs are still the team to beat in the AFC West. The road to the championship has ran through Arrowhead, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Neither does the team, based off the vibes, and quotes we are getting from this team. They are ready, and we should be too.
