The Chiefs have something on their team that gives them an advantage over other NFL franchises. Yes, they have the best quarterback in the league in Patrick Mahomes. Of course, you can’t leave out the best tight end in the league, either. Oh, and let’s not forget the fastest player in the league in Tyreek Hill.

You add all that in, and the Chiefs are the best offense in the NFL. However, there is more than that to the team that makes them good. They have the best coaching staff in all of the NFL. Not just head coach Andy Reid, but the coordinators and assistants as well.

Chiefs have best coaching staff in the NFL

We all know about Andy Reid, who is one of the best coaches of all time. Yes, he has only one championship ring, but his coaching career just so happened to be at the same time as the greatest of all time in Bill Belichick.

After winning his first super bowl ever, Reid was put into the conversation with the greats. While he already somewhat was, the super bowl win submitted his legacy even more.

With the sixth-most wins ever by a coach, Andy Reid has displayed his greatness on the sidelines. There is really only one weakness throughout his coaching career, and that would be clock management. However, even that has gotten better throughout the last few years.

When you look at the staff Reid puts together, you will see nothing but greatness. Point out a head coach or an assistant, and they likely came from the Andy Reid tree. Soon, we can add another to that list.

Eric Bieniemy, a former running back, may be one of the smartest offensive minds in the NFL. The man behind the Chiefs offensive plays will soon be a head coach.

Steve Spagnuolo is one of the great defensive minds in the NFL. The Chiefs were one of the worst defenses in the NFL just a few years ago before Spagnuolo took over. Now, while they are not at the top of the league, they certainly are not at the bottom.

With the guy’s Andy Reid has put around him and having the same staff for the last few years, the Chiefs are set up to succeed. Of course, Patrick Mahomes and the players will get a ton of credit. However, what goes on behind the scenes with the staff is why the team always has an advantage.
