While no one wants to say it or even think it, the time maybe now, rather than later. Time for what, you may ask? Time for the Kansas City Chiefs to make some important decisions regarding their future.

As the season is meeting its mid-season point, the Chiefs are not looking too hot. There are problems beyond the players, coaches, and franchise. No, no, no, I am not calling for the full house sweep. However, something needs to be done, and soon.

Yes, we have been preaching this the last few weeks, but after a loss like that to the Titans, we need to see actions now. This is a franchise used to success, especially over the last few years. Now that it is not there, changes need to be made, leaving the Chiefs with tough decisions to make.

Chiefs need to make these tough decisions

The Kansas City Chiefs are in unfamiliar territory when looking at how successful they have been in the last five years or so. Bow, they have some changes to make, and a few of these may be hard decisions that not everyone will agree with.

To start, we know fans will say the team needs to just tank, and hope for a generational talent in the draft. Now, that would be tough to see, considering the team would nearly intentionally lose, which can be a punch in the gut.

I think it is safe to say that at this time, their chances at fixing everything and making the playoffs are slim to none. So another decision the Chiefs will have to make is personal change.

Should the Chiefs make changes in the front office, or within the coaching staff? Obviously, fans have been calling for a new defensive coordinator, and now maybe a great time to do so.

There are so many decisions the Chiefs need to make coming soon. Obviously, we need to see how the rest of the season plays out before we can evaluate which decisions should and will be made.
