Earlier this offseason, former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill suggested that Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is a more accurate passer than Patrick Mahomes.

There’s no bad blood between Hill and Mahomes — this was mostly just Hill gassing up his new teammate.

It was a silly comment from Hill — especially considering Tua has played in just 23 career games. We don’t have a big enough sample size to compare his accuracy to Mahomes’ accuracy (by the way, their career completion percentages are the same).

Another reason it’s silly is because Mahomes is ridiculously accurate with the football. The eye test tells us all we need to know.

Just check out what he did at training camp on Tuesday.

Mahomes is literally throwing it behind his back and left-handed and nailing his target. A normal throw would’ve been impressive, but the Kansas City quarterback took it a step further.

This isn’t the first time this summer that Mahomes has wowed folks with his accuracy, either.

Late last month, Mahomes nailed a tackling pad that was thrown in the air on his first pass attempt.

It kind of feels like Mahomes is out to prove something this year. Maybe the comments from Hill about Tua fired him up. If that’s the case, then it’s good news for Chiefs fans and extremely bad news for the rest of the AFC West.
