This weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs will be facing a familiar face in the Buffalo Bills, their last win of the 2020 season. The Bills are starting their season much like last year, very strong. This is a team that is angry, and they are proving their worth so far.

Buffalo is showing no signs of mercy, with what looks to be a lethal offense. Last year, they had a few weaknesses on that side of the ball. This year, they closed the gap.

One of those weaknesses from the year prior would be their running attack, which was the bottom half of the league in 2020. Now, they are 5th in rushing yards, 12th in passing yards, 6th in total yards, and 2nd in total points scored.

It is safe to say this team is angry and has something to prove. If the Chiefs don’t try to contain these three players, it could get ugly on Sunday.

Kansas City Chiefs need to contain these Bills players

Devin Singletary, RB:

While he is listed as the Bills second running back on their depth chart behind Zach Moss, Devin Singletary is their best running back thus far. The Kansas City Chiefs are familiar with Devin Singletary from their two matchups last season. In both of those games, he rushed for 49 yards combined.

However, this year he looks a lot better. Singletary is the Bills highest rusher as the second-string running back. With 49 rush attempts, Singletary has 259 yards on the season. Not only has he been able to rack up the yards, but he has found the endzone once as well.

Emmanuel Sanders, WR:

After a great year with the New Orleans Saints, Emmanuel Sanders has found himself pairing up with Josh Allen on the Bills. While the Chiefs did play Sanders last year, it was on the Saints and not Buffalo.

So far this year he has shown him and Stefon Diggs can be a lethal wide receiver duo in this league. On just 16 receptions, Sanders has hauled in 259 yards and two touchdowns. Sanders is not the leading receiver for the Bills, but he is not far off from Diggs with fewer receptions.

Dawson Knox, TE:

The third-year tight end is having a breakout season so far. Knox has already set a new career-high in touchdowns and is very close to a new career-high for receiving yards.

This year the Buffalo Bills are using Knox in a much different way. With four touchdowns already, the Bills love to use him around the end zone, and it is paying off for sure. The Chiefs red zone defense has been awful, so Knox is definitely a weapon the Chiefs need to watch out for
