There is one thing we have learned about the Kansas City Chiefs from the first two weeks of the 2022 season. The first two weeks have been a roller coaster, but not in a bad way, at all. The Chiefs are 2-0, and it has taught us so much already.

The Chiefs were doubted a lot this offseason, all because of one thing that happened. Tyreek Hill gets traded and it seems like everyone starts counting the Chiefs, If he was that important, why does he not have an MVP?

No, I get it. He was important. But it looks like both parties are doing fine without each other.

Anyways, that’s a different article for a different day. Today is about what we have learned from the past two weeks.

What we have learned is something that is almost the same thing the Chiefs have known for the last five years.

The Chiefs are the cream of the crop in the AFC West

We have learned in two weeks that while everything has changed, everything is still the same. What do I mean by that, well, I’m glad you asked.

The Chiefs are currently sitting in first place in the division with a 2-0 record after beating their division rival, the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chiefs are still the dominant team in the division, as far as we know. Yes, the Chargers are second, but what has really changed? As far as I’m concerned, the Chiefs are first and everyone else is fighting to be second, third, and fourth.

The Chargers are looking like the Chief’s only real threat at this moment, as they came close to beating the Chiefs in Kansas City last week. As for the other teams, they have their own issues.

The Denver Broncos are struggling with their offense. Russell Wilson hasn’t looked the best, and new head coach Nathaniel Hackett is saying all the things he should but doing the complete opposite. They are either losing to or barely beating the worst team in football. It’s not good.

The Raiders’ offensive line is one of the worst in football. They have used more offensive line combinations than nearly any other team in the league so far. The chemistry between Carr and Adams is still there, but the coaching isn’t going great. They are blowing insane leads to a team the Chiefs obliterated.

There is a lot to be excited about if you are a Chiefs fan. The season is still so young, but if it’s taught us anything so far, it’s that nothing has really changed.
