The Las Vegas Raiders got a much-needed victory in Week 11 against the Denver Broncos. It wasn’t pretty, but divisional games are always a grind.

In the end, the Raiders’ offense beat the strength of the Broncos to seal the game. The Las Vegas passing game dazzled late in the game and overtime to grab the win.

In particular, the connection between Davante Adams and Derek Carr was on full display.

The game winning play in OT came from Adams when he put a great route on standout Broncos’ cornerback Patrick Surtain II. Carr delivered the pass on time for the TD.

Adams scored easily and had words for the young CB after the game.

Adams got the best of Surtain on that final play and made a couple other plays against the Broncos’ defensive during the game. His veteran presence was clear, but Surtain never backed down.

It will certainly be a learning experience for Surtain.

For Adams, he knows how talented Surtain is, but he also knows how talented he is, himself. His confidence was clear after the game. Raiders’ fans will love to see that.

This won’t be nearly the last time we see these two matchup against each other. Both are in an elite category at their position.

Adams won this round for the Raiders.
