The Las Vegas Raiders came into this week as a bit of an underdog.

That being said, sports books had them as the favorite. Those books were correct.

The Raiders just upset the Los Angeles Chargers.

It was a confident game for Las Vegas as their top talent came to play. That’s three victories in a row for the Raiders. They are now back in the playoff hunt, even if a spot seems unlikely still.

Josh McDaniels and company have bounced back over the past month after Davante Adams and Derek Carr commented on the team’s faith in their coaches.

Their patience has started to pay off in wins, and it just punched the Chargers in the face.

Entering the day, the Chargers were right on the edge of the playoff race. Now, the Raiders are just a game behind them.

The Raiders’ offense played very well in every facet today. Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs led the team in production once again, though.

Derek Carr didn’t have to spread the ball around too much because Adams kept making plays.

Jacobs averaged nearly six yards per carry and had another game over 100 yards. He got a touchdown as well.

The defense came up with big plays as well. The defensive line got constant pressure on Justin Herbert. Chandler Jones had his best game with the Raiders so far.

Everyone really came to play. Las Vegas had to have it.

The loss for the Chargers is back-breaking. They somewhat controlled their path to the postseason if they won the games they needed, but they will need a lot more help now.

It continues to be a bit disappointing for LA this season under Brandon Staley.

For Josh McDaniels, his Raiders have tons of momentum. We will see if they can build anything from that.
