The Las Vegas Raiders are looking at another week when star running back Josh Jacobs is playing hobbled.
That’s ok because he did the same in Week 12. Earlier this morning Ian Rapoport reported that Jacobs, who was questionable with a calf injury coming into Sunday, will play against the Chargers.

It is just the news Raiders fans were hoping for. The last time Jacobs played hurt, in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks, he rushed for 229 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime.

The week before, facing the Denver Broncos, Jacobs also rushed for 109 yards on 24 carries. His play has been critical to the Raiders’ success in recent weeks. And if Las Vegas is going to make a run at being competitive late in the season, Jacobs needs to be available on each down.
Expect Las Vegas to lean on its run game for another week. With Jacobs playing as well as he is, the Raiders have to.
