The Josh McDaniels era in Las Vegas hasn’t begun too swimmingly. The offense has sputtered at important times, and the Raiders are 0-2. Analytically, the numbers don’t look too much better for the Raiders. Everyone involved has to step up.

Based on EPA per play, the Raiders are in a dangerous zone. The other teams closest to Las Vegas are the Jets, Patriots, Seahawks, and Falcons. Those are not the type of offenses that you want to be similarly related to this season.

According to the graphic, the Raiders are about as average as possible right now. The passing nor rushing offense has been up to par in order for the Raiders to be a contender. The Chargers and Chiefs are definitely both in better spots right now on offense.

Luckily, it is still early for the Raiders. Derek Carr has not played his best ball yet, and the talent at skill positions is undeniable. The offensive line is a work-in-progress, and improvement needs to be seen there soon.
