There is a lot more to Las Vegas Raiders superstar Davante Adams’ game than what you see on the field.

A lot of people think he is just bigger, faster, quicker, and stronger than whoever is guarding him, and that’s all there is to it.

Some people think that it’s just pure athleticism and skill. When I say skill I mean route running, hands, etc. But it’s way more than what meets the eye.

Adams is one of the smartest receivers in the league. Actually, he may be one of the smartest guys in the league overall, and that’s including quarterbacks.

The mind is one of his best traits, as he has shown that he can beat opponents with just that. All the other stuff helps too, but his brain is the main reason.

“I mean that’s like 90 percent of what makes me, me versus all the rest of the stuff they talk about,” Adams said earlier this week.

It may not be like that for every receiver either, but we have heard about how much Adams studies film. He knows exactly what every guy who is going to be lining up against him is, what they love to do most, and what they don’t do often.

“It’s a lot of the studying and the anticipation in knowing what’s coming or having an idea what’s coming and then formulating a plan, and then if that plan is not the best, then adjust it from there and find the best way to do it based off how they are playing me.”

This is a huge reason why Adams is one of the best, in my opinion, the best, receivers in the league.

This is what separates him from the pack. This is why Adams is so well respected.
