For the Tennessee Titans, each win brings them one step closer to a first-round playoff bye in the AFC. They continue to reel off wins against quality opponents, boosting their playoff chances as well as their odds to win the Super Bowl.
Where do the Titans stack up with the rest of the NFL in terms of playoff odds?
According to FPI, the Titans have a 99.9% chance to make the playoffs. I would say those are pretty good chances. Additionally, FPI gives them a 24.1% chance to get to the Super Bowl. Those odds are the second-highest in the league.
Kevin Seifert of ESPN broke down the NFL based on playoff likelihood via tiers. He included the Titans in the Super Bowl Contenders section. Alongside them, the Bills, Cowboys, and Packers sit in that tier currently. Tennessee has the highest odds to make the playoffs of any of them, though.
Don’t forget that the Titans hold the tiebreaker against the Bills with their win over them earlier in the season. That victory could play a giant role in seeding by playoff time.

Going forward, the Titans also have the easiest remaining schedule in the league, according to FPI. Good news for a team with so many injuries to key players. They keep overcoming them and will look to continue to do that.

The softer schedule for the remainder of the regular season definitely plays a role in their playoff and top AFC seed chances for the Titans. Other teams will have tougher matchups that will only make the road to the postseason more difficult.
There’s plenty of work left to be done for Tennessee. Regardless, the numbers show that their hot start to the first half of this season has put them in the driver’s seat.
