NFL football is right around the corner. Accordingly, fantasy football draft season is now in full swing as folks begin their trek to another title. Derrick Henry is a fantasy football staple. Who else could on the Titans could be impactful this season in fantasy football? Wide receivers Robert Woods and Treylon Burks both have a clear avenue to fantasy production, but there is one other target that is getting some love in the community. Rookie WR Kyle Philips may emerge.

WR Kyle Philips

The rookie wide receiver has been impressive so far in training camp. There is a chance that he begins the season as the starting slot receiver for the Titans.

Considering that, Philips could be a viable option in deeper fantasy football leagues. He will be a consistent force in the passing game that could provide a safe floor for fantasy. Ryan Tannehill has a history of creating connections with his slot receivers as well. In college, it was WR Ryan Swoopes. In Miami, it was with WR Jarvis Landry.

Philips will have to fight for targets with Burks and Woods, but many of their reps will be on the outside. They added TE Austin Hooper this off-season as well. Regardless, if Philips shows that he can be the best option inside, then he will be on the field plenty to produce.

Philips could be the slot target he has been needed over the last few seasons with the Titans. He could have some value in the fantasy football world, too.
