Welcome to ‘Sode No. 61 of the Titan Up Podcast: Titans Draft Recap & The Rashad Weaver Debacle!

The 2021 NFL Draft has come and gone with the Tennessee Titans making eight selections. Virginia Tech CB Caleb Farley highlighted the class in the first round, but there is definitely some skepticism surrounding his injury history.

The Titans added Dillon Radunz, Monty Rice, and Elijah Molden on Day 2, but none of those three play wide receiver! The Titans failed to properly address the need at WR and tight end in what most considered to be a deep class for pass catchers.

The Titans finally pulled the trigger on a WR in the fourth round by drafting Louisville WR Dez Fitzpatrick. Where does he fall in the Titans WR pecking order?

Unfortunately, the biggest news to come out of Draft Weekend was centered around the Titans’ other fourth-round pick, Rashad Weaver. The Pittsburgh DE had charges filed for simple assault the day before he was selected.

Did the Titans do their due diligence on Weaver? Either way, it is a bad look for Jon Robinson and the Titans scouting department just one year removed from the Isaiah Wilson disaster.

The Houston Texans are once again the butt of the joke after using their first pick in the draft on a QUARTERBACK! It’s time to laugh at the Texans.

Finally, Jack and Luke read some of the atrocities posted on Titans Facebook over the weekend before the guys close with Remember the Titan.
