Tennessee Vols legend Peyton Manning is returning to prime time this week.

The former Super Bowl winning quarterback is set to host a reboot of the NBC quiz show “College Bowl”.

Manning will serve as the host, alongside his older brother Cooper.

“It’s kind of like we’re hanging out in the den, having a conversation, playing a little trivia game, there just happens to be some college students competing and it’s going to be on TV,” said Peyton recently (via WWLP).

“Peyton and I both love, love trivia and love colleges and love people competing,” added Cooper. “So it was kind of the perfect combination for a, for a fun show and we’re excited about getting to hang out for a long time.”

Acccording to NBC, the show will showcase “some of the nation’s greatest collegiate rivalries”.

The contestants on the show will be competing for college scholarships, which is part of what convinced Peyton to join the show.

“If there’s a senior, he or she can get his student debt paid off and for a freshman, it’s a life-changing opportunity and experience to receive that type of financial aid and the impact that could make on that person’s family could be a lasting legacy and opportunity for that family,” explained Peyton.

The show will premiere on Tuesday night (June 22) on NBC at 9:00 PM CT/10:00 PM ET. There will be 10 episodes that will include 12 schools.
