The Tennessee Vols recently extended an offer to Reid Carrico, a four-star 2021 athlete from Ironton, OH.

Carrico, 6-foot-3/218 lbs, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 9 player in the state of Ohio and the No. 19 athlete in the nation.
In addition to Carrico’s offer from Tennessee, he also holds offers from Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin, among several others.
Carrico certainly looks like a player that could help the Vols in a big way, but it won’t be easy for UT to pull the talented athlete out of Ohio.
The Ohio native recently told 247Sports that a lot of his family is comprised of Buckeye fans. Carrico, who visited Ohio State for their spring game last weekend, said he plans to return to Columbus on June 8 for a camp.
Tennessee doesn’t currently have any players committed to their 2021 recruiting class.
