In December, it was reported that linebacker Jordan Allen was one of several Tennessee Vols listed in the NCAA transfer portal.
Allen, a former four-star recruit who was part of Jeremy Pruitt’s inaugural recruiting class at Tennessee, is no longer listed in the transfer portal, according to a report from John Brice.
Some good news for #Vols @Vol_Football I am told that Jordan Allen has WITHDRAWN his name from the NCAA Transfer portal.

This would certainly seem to be good news for the Vols, considering Allen was expected to provide quality linebacker depth as a redshirt junior in 2019.
Allen didn’t see much action as a newcomer in 2018, compiling only six tackles in his first season on Rocky Top.
But perhaps another off-season in the strength program will prime Allen to be a contributor next season.
Either way, there’s no denying Allen is a talented kid. And Tennessee definitely isn’t in a position to lose talented players.
