Injury luck for the New Orleans Saints was a nightmare a year ago. This season, they hope they can stay healthier as they attempt to contend for the NFC South. The health of their most important players like Michael Thomas, Jameis Winston, Demario Davis, and Marshon Lattimore is paramount. The latter of that list returned to practice on Thursday.

Lattimore missed a couple of practices, but the injury was minor. He was back on the field Monday but just took some light work. The Saints CB sustained the injury last Thursday. It was described as a slight muscle pull, but the defensive back looks healthy once again. we haven’t gotten to see many Lattimore-Thomas matchups so far in camp, but they could be on the horizon.

It sounds like the injury won’t be anything to worry about too much going forward. That is great news for the Saints because they cannot afford to lose their top CB before the season even begins.

The Saints secondary group that includes Lattimore, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Paulson Adebo, Marcus Maye, and Tyrann Mathieu looks to be one of the best in the NFL.
