The New Orleans Saints made a decision in the off-season. They cut ties with star offensive tackle Terron Armstead. He was a free agent, and the Saints did not sign him to a new contract. Instead, Armstead signed with the Miami Dolphins.
It was just a part of salary cap work by the Saints, but Armstead loved being in New Orleans.
Saints’ fans loved him as well as he protected Drew Brees and co. at a high level during his career with the team.
During their Week 4 matchup against the Vikings, Armstead tweeted his support for his former team.
Great drive!! ⚜️— T. Stead 🎤🎧 (@T_Armstead72) October 2, 2022
Keep running that damn ball!
The Saints clearly have a special place in his heart.
Fans will agree with him, too. The Saints have ran the ball consistently against the Vikings in this game so far. In order to comeback, they have to continue that.
