Without quarterback Jameis Winston, the New Orleans Saints will need more from everyone to win on Sunday.

That means New Orleans will need more from everyone, but especially Alvin Kamara.

He is capable of making plays like this:

Yet, in two games, Kamara has an embarrassing 29 total touches. But that is simply not enough.

Kamara can influence the direction of any game.

As the Saints’ most accomplished skill position player, getting Kamara involved early and often is the only way New Orleans survives without its starting quarterback.

Quality production from Andy Dalton is not guaranteed. Letting Kamara cook will relieve the pressure for Dalton to be great. And it will allow him to ease into the game and be simply who New Orleans needs him to be.

However, if the Saints don’t involve Kamara early, things could get ugly — quick.
