The New Orleans Saints have dealt with plenty of injuries this season. Their luck may be turning around at the right time, though.

This week has been a massive improvement at practice when it comes to participation. Seven key players returned to practice for the Saints.

They may not all return to play on Sunday, but these are steps in the right direction.

Getting even a handful of these players back would be a massive development for the Saints. The 49ers are playing their best football of the season.

They are talented on both sides of the ball and need to keep stacking wins for playoff positioning.

Meanwhile, the Saints are fighting to stay in the postseason hunt.

The return of Marshon Lattimore would probably have the biggest effect. He hasn’t played since early October.

San Francisco has a plethora of offensive talent at skill positions.

The Saints need their best cornerback to help them matchup. Additionally, Cam Jordan and Marcus Davenport would be instrumental in their return to the lineup.

The 49ers’ offensive line has been inconsistent at times, and the Saints need to pressure Jimmy Garoppolo.

On offense, reinforcements on the O-Line would be massive for Andy Dalton as well as the running game. It has been a make-shift unit for weeks now without key pieces.

Saints’ fans are also excited to see rookie OT Trevor Penning in action since he has been injured all season.

We will find out whether or not these guys will suit up in the next couple of days most likely. Saints’ fans need to keep their eyes peeled.
