The offense for the New Orleans Saints is very exciting in 2022. With improved weapons at WR, quarterback Jameis Winston could have the best season of his career. Saints rookie receiver Chris Olave and star wideout Michael Thomas would play a big part in that. Olave was asked about Thomas on Thursday after Saints practice.

Some of you may understand this pop culture reference more than others. It’s a nod to Thomas’ work ethic, of course. It is also a reference to the viral “Dawg in ’em” meme that has gone viral over the last handful of weeks.

Basically, it means that someone is a fighter. Their determination is inspirational to others. They are a hard worker at their craft, and Thomas is definitely that. After a couple of frustrating seasons filled with injuries, Thomas seems to be almost as healthy as possible. That’s massive news for the Saints. The Saints star WR is asking crisp cuts in training camp and winning a lot of battles for the football.

The bond between these two receivers could be paramount for the Saints. Both of them are vital pieces to the offense for New Orleans for the foreseeable future. This was a fun little nudge from Olave to Thomas.
