Fans of the New Orleans Saints are pumped about the addition of rookie wide receiver Chris Olave. His route running is something to marvel at, and it has been on full display during training camp. On Friday, Olave ran a beautiful route against defensive back Paulson Adebo. Adebo has been impressive so far in camp, so it says something about the finesse to Olave’s game.

Check it out.

Keep in mind that 1-on-1’s are very difficult for the defensive back. That being said, this route by the rookie is putting just about any defender in a blender. His suddenness and athleticism have been on full display during practices. He seems to be making a concretion with Jameis Winston, too.

Winston has thrown the ball early and often to the rookie so far in training camp. Actually, he has thrown it to him the most of any WR.

The trio of Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry, and Olave could be really dangerous. They each have a uniwue skillset and can attack multiple parts of the field. Olave will be a key piece to the offense in his first season. The former Ohio State WR seems to be coming along just fine with the Saints.
