I think we can all agree that the New Orleans Saints‘ very own Cam Jordan has been one of the better defensive ends in the NFL since he has been in the league. That may be a hot take to people who don’t follow the Saints, but I’ll live with it.

I also think it is fair to say that the next guy up at the position has to be Nick Bosa on the San Francisco 49ers. Bosa is a physical force, and just a beast overall.

He is starting to get to that level where opposing teams’ quarterbacks hate knowing they play him next. He is starting to be the guy that puts fear in the quarterback’s eyes as they line up across from each other.

It’s safe to say Bosa will be one of the best defenses in the league for a while, and the Saints will get to see that up close on Sunday.

“Yeah, Nick [Bosa] is a great player,” Andy Dalton said. “You have seen what he has been able to do since he came into the league, what he brings to that defense, and just the way he can rush the passer.

“He’s a really good player. So, I mean it’s, we definitely have our hands full with him out there.”

The Saints will have to be on their toes when Bosa is on the opposite side of the line of scrimmage.

Last week, Dalton did a good job of getting the ball out quickly due to the pressure from Aaron Donald and others. This week, he will have to do the same.

I think Dalton knows, too, that it’s all about making sure that guy doesn’t take over because we all know that Bosa can. The Saints’ offensive line will have their hands full.

Dalton has been sacked only 13 times this season, which is honestly pretty good. There are guys like Justin Fields who have already been sacked 40 times.

Meanwhile, Bosa has 10.5 sacks right now, which is the second most in the league.

Andy Dalton and the New Orleans Saints have something to be worried about for Sunday, but they already knew that.
