The New Orleans Saints have a very good defense on paper, with star names all across the board. They already have one of the best defensive back units in the league, and it just got even scarier.

On Tuesday, the Saints added former All-Pro cornerback Chris Harris Jr., who is one of the more experienced backs in the league. He won a Super Bowl with the Broncos in 2015.

Harris has been All-Pro second team twice, and All-Pro first team once, and four Pro Bowls to go along with it.

In his prime, Harris was one of the best cornerbacks in the league as he played for the Broncos and Chargers. Now, he signs a practice squad deal with the Saints.

This deal could eventually turn into a roster spot for Harris, and while he isn’t what he used to be, he can still be very valuable.

In 11 years, Harris has 22 interceptions and 94 pass deflections.

The Saints are looking for a guy who can be a depth piece to this secondary, and they found the perfect guy.
