Former Tennessee Vols star Derek Barnett has spent the first five years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles.

And it looks like he’s coming back to Philly for two more seasons.

Barnett reportedly signed a two-year deal on Thursday with the Eagles.

Barnett is a former first-round pick from Nashville, TN. The former Vols standout has 21.5 sacks and one defensive touchdown in his career.

While in college at Tennessee, Barnett set the all-time Volunteers record for sacks in a career with 33 (which broke Hall of Famer Reggie White’s record).

Barnett hasn’t been a star in the NFL so far. But he’s been a productive player and the Eagles clearly feel like they need him back in Philly for the next two years.
