The Philadelphia Eagles have some players listed as inactive against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

The following Eagles players will not play the lions. Ian Book, Trey Sermon, Josh Sills, Tarron Jackson, Reed Blankenship, and Grant Calcaterra are all inactive. All of these guys were healthy scratches.

Ian Booke is the third-string quarterback, so it was pretty apparent he would be inactive. Sermon is currently the fourth-string running back seeing he just joined the team on September 1st.

As for Calcaterra, the Eagles must like who they have ahead of him on the depth chart for their game against the Lions. Sills has seven offensive linemen ahead of him on the depth chart so that inactive was logical. As far as the Undrafted Free Agent rookie Blankenship, he is inactive as the Eagles like K’Von Wallace ahead of him.
