The Philadelphia Eagles are one of just two undefeated NFL teams after Week 3. The Miami Dolphins are the only other team in that category. That being said, the Eagles are on a different planet from everyone else statistically.

The biggest gap in grades between teams in the league is between the Eagles and the No. 2 team
This stat is telling. Pro Football Focus grades are not always the most accurate description of team/player performance. Alas, the gap for the Eagles being so big is what is truly mesmerizing.
They aren’t just the highest-graded team, but they are that by an extreme margin. No other team comes close, including the Dolphins.
On offense, their EPA/play is the best in the league as well. It is close, but they reign supreme. The Dolphins are in second, while the Bills, Chiefs, and Jaguars round of the top 5.
Best offenses in EPA per play (PFF)— Ian Hartitz (@Ihartitz) September 27, 2022
1. Eagles (+0.19)
2. Dolphins (+0.187)
3. Bills (+0.138)
4. Chiefs (+0.117)
5. Jaguars (+0.1)
That’s some impressive company for the Eagles. Two of those five teams were considered super bowl contenders entering the season, and the Eagles lead them both.
Not to mention, the defense is getting it done, too. The Eagles have been an elite team in pass coverage, and their overall defense ranks fifth by PFF.
#Eagles are top 5, per PFF, in:— Eliot Shorr-Parks (@EliotShorrParks) September 26, 2022
Offense: No. 1
Passing: No. 1
Pass Blocking: No. 1
Receiving: No. 1
Defense: No. 5
Pass Coverage: No. 3
In every facet of the game, the Eagles have been dominant so far. Only time will tell if they can keep this up, but no team is in the same stratosphere as Philly so far this season.
