The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New Orleans Saints last week without one of their best players.

Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick was inactive last week after undergoing surgery due to appendicitis.

There was some thought that Fitzpatrick could miss multiple games.

But that may not be the case.

Fitzpatrick went through individual drills on Thursday, which is a sign he could be available on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fitzpatrick wants to play, but it will depend on whether or not he’s cleared by doctors before game time.

I’m sure Bengals fans are hoping they don’t see Fitzpatrick on Sunday. The former Alabama standout had 14 tackles and a pick-six against Cincinnati in week one. Even if Fitzpatrick isn’t 100 percent on Sunday, he’s still a player that can terrorize the Bengals.
