The Tampa Bay BuccaneersCole Beasley experiment is officially over.

Per NFL Network‘s Mike Garafolo, the former second-team All-Pro has decided to retire from the game of football.

Beasley signed with the Buccaneers just a few weeks ago amid a slew of injuries. He joined the team’s practice squad and was immediately elevated to the 53-man roster that following Sunday.

He played in two games for the Buccaneers, recording four receptions for 17-yards on five targets. His best play was easily his reception on fourth down that kept a drive alive against the Green Bay Packers.

Beasley finishes his career with 554 receptions, 5,726 yards and 34 touchdowns over the course of 11 seasons.
