Things looked really promising when Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin took a screen pass 24-yards down the left sideline on the first play of the game.

Many wondered how Godwin would look as he makes his way back from the torn ACL he suffered last year against the New Orleans Saints. He looked quick and agile as weaved through the Dallas Cowboys defense and went on to catch two more passes for 11-yards later on.

But, those two receptions ended up representing his last of the night.

That’s because Godwin was ruled out for the rest of the game with hamstring injury as the third quarter began.

The Buccaneers also lost Pro Bowl left tackle Donovan Smith to an elbow injury after a couple of players collided into Smith’s right arm.

Breshad Perriman came into the game once Godwin left and Josh Wells replaced Smith.
