CBS Sports thinks the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a “must-watch rookie” on their roster.
Josh Edwards, an NFL writer for CBS Sports, pointed out several must-watch rookies during preseason and he included Buccaneers defensive lineman Logan Hall on his list.
Hall has a unique frame that should allow him to be used inside and outside depending upon the situation. Tampa Bay is loaded in the front seven so there will be no pressure for the rookie to contribute early. At the same time, it is easy to envision Vita Vea eating up blockers down the line and allowing Hall to loop around and create pressure. Center Ryan Jensen is on record as saying Hall is “the real deal.”

Hall was drafted by the Buccaneers in the second round (No. 33 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.
The former Houston standout had a quiet first couple of years in college, collecting just 6.5 tackles for loss and one sack during his first three seasons.
Hall, however, broke out in a big way in 2021. The Texas native totaled 13 tackles for loss and six sacks last season (to go along with 47 total tackles).
Tampa Bay will be able to use Hall in a variety of ways, which will certainly make life tough on opposing offensive coordinators and offensive linemen.
#Bucs DT Akiem Hicks says that Logan Hall comes to work every day with excitement.

Hall didn’t put up gaudy numbers during his time at Houston, but he’s an imposing presence on the defensive line who knows how to make an impact in the trenches. And that’s how you grind out games in the NFL.
