If tight end Rob Gronkowski plays football in 2022, I’m 99 percent certain it will be with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Gronk has never been on an NFL team without Tom Brady and it’s hard to imagine that at age 33 he’s suddenly going to split up with the greatest quarterback of all time.

There’s also the fact that Brady and Gronk seem to be spending plenty of time together this offseason.

Brady posted a video on social media on Tuesday that showed him and Gronkowski playing baseball together (with Gronk in centerfield while Brady was taking swings).

Side note: Brady’s swing looks great for someone who hasn’t played baseball in nearly three decades. The future Hall of Famer was drafted in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft by the Montreal Expos as a left-handed hitting catcher.

I’m betting that Gronk is going to sign with the Bucs probably just before training camp. He probably wants to avoid any mandatory OTAs at this point in his career (he probably wants to avoid any virtual team meetings as well).

Brady doesn’t have too many years left and I think Gronk realizes that his magical run with Brady will soon be over forever. I can’t see him passing up a final opportunity to run it back with the GOAT.
