Just a few weeks ago, the Buffalo Bills' hopes to make any big splashes in free agency looked bleak. Now, with just a few moves, the future is looking brighter than ever.

The Bills were able to restructure WR Stefon Diggs' contract, converting his base salary into a bonus and freeing up over $5M in cap space, according to Field Yates.

Brandon Beane and company were in one of the worst positions in the NFL, from a cap space perspective. Now, after less than 72 hours into free agency, the team is set up to make some moves.

Buffalo has been busy with moves. While none of them have been the splash signing that Bills Mafia may have hoped for, they are important decisions to maintain success both now and in the future.

Tim Settle's re-negotiation, Matt Milano's contract extension, Josh Allen and Von Miller's contract restructure, and now Diggs' restructure have the Bills in a much more favorable position.

Despite the limited cap space situation, the Bills' front office has still made a few moves. Tyrel Dodson was given a new deal, the team tendered RFA CB Dane Jackson, and the team was even able to sign OG Connor McGovern.

Stefon Diggs has been seemingly unhappy as of late, with cryptic tweets and interviews talking about his frustration with the team's lack of playoff success.

Here's hoping that a contract restructuring will allow Buffalo to get him, and Josh Allen, some help.
