The Buffalo Bills acquired Stefon Diggs in a blockbuster deal back in 2020 and the rest is history.

Diggs has cemented himself as one of the all-time greats in terms of Bills' wide receivers.

In fact, Diggs was able to cement himself in the history books with his outstanding start to the season.

It's amazing what happens when you give your franchise quarterback a true number one receiver.

Diggs currently sits 12th all-time in terms of receiving yards for Bills players. While it is unlikely he ever surpasses the legendary Andre Reed, Diggs will surely go down as one of the all-time greats.

A rare occurrence

The Bills acquired Diggs for a first, fourth, fifth, and sixth-round pick. Part of the deal eventually resulted in the Minnesota Vikings drafting Justin Jefferson.

When looking at their numbers, it's one of the rare times in NFL history that both teams seemingly won the trade.

Jefferson and Diggs have taken their respective teams to the next level, and Diggs was able to get a much-needed fresh start in Buffalo.

The Josh Allen connection

Diggs and Allen have established a dominant connection since they joined together.

In fact, the home opener was a perfect representation of what these two have been able to accomplish together.

Diggs, since joining the Bills, has 36 regular season games played with 257 receptions for 3,104 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Add in his post-season stats of 5 games played, 26 receptions for 378 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Needless to say, Diggs has been an absolute monster since joining the team.

Luckily, the Bills were able to lock up the star wide receiver to a contract extension that ties him to the team through the next six seasons.

What's next?

Diggs will look to continue his dominant season as the Bills gear up for a showdown against the Baltimore Ravens.

Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs will be a dominant force in the NFL for years to come.

Get your popcorn ready, Sunday is going to be a shootout.
