The Dallas Cowboys had seven players named to the Pro Bowl in December, tied for the second-most in the NFL. On Monday, that jumped to eight as Cowboys' center Tyler Biadasz was added as a replacement for Eagles' center Jason Kelce who will play in the Super Bowl.
Biadasz is the first Cowboys' center since Travis Frederick, who retired after the 2019 season, to make a Pro Bowl appearance. He joins Zack Martin, CeeDee Lamb, Tony Pollard, Micah Parsons, Trevon Diggs, DeMarcus Lawrence, and KaVontae Turpin as the Cowboys' selections.
If they are any injuries in the coming days, this may not be the final tally for the Cowboys as far as Pro Bowlers go.
Biadasz had some struggles to start his career but he has steadily improved over the last two seasons. After starting all 17 games a year ago, Biadasz started every game in 2022 until he suffered an ankle injury against the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 which forced him to miss the Cowboys season finale.
During the season, Biadasz played 97% of the offensive snaps and committed just five penalties, down from the nine he suffered last season. As long he keeps showing this kind of elevation in his play, this might not be the last time Biadasz makes the Pro Bowl, and he could even be on the original roster someday and not be an alternate.
