Trevon Diggs is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. Already cemented as a top-tier ball hawk, it's easy to call the Dallas Cowboys defensive back a premier defender.

After all, Diggs is a two-time Pro Bowler and has a first-team All-Pro selection on his young résumé. That's not too shabby of a start for the Cowboys star. And he certainly knows what talent look like, as he is the brother of Pro Bowl receiver Stefon Diggs.

Game recognizes game. Therefore, it came as little surprise to see Diggs compliment Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts played largely well in the Super Bowl and put together his best season yet in the NFL.

Hurts finished as the runner-up in the MVP race to none other than Patrick Mahomes. In the Super Bowl, the Eagles' quarterback accounted for four touchdowns and was responsible for Philadelphia having an opportunity to win.

Furthermore, Diggs played with Hurts at Alabama. The two were teammates while winning big under legendary Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban. Their friendship has carried over to the NFL where the two are heated rivals in the NFC East.

This isn't to say that Trevon Diggs prefers Hurts over Dak Prescott. Diggs also recognizes how talented the Cowboys' own signal caller is.

"I know he's a winner," Diggs said on Prescott during the season. "I know he's going to come back with a stronger game, so I'm never sweating. I'm never trippin'.''

Still, it's an interesting look at how rivals can still respect one another. Talent knows what talent looks like. However, it would be nice for Trevon Diggs and the Dallas Cowboys defense to get another pick-six on Jalen Hurts next season.
