Football fans found out what it was like for players to have access to their cell phones during a game in Sunday’s 2023 Pro Bowl Games. Miami Dolphins star wideout Tyreek Hill was live-tweeting his reactions throughout the contest, making headlines with one specific post.
Hill and Rams superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey have a fiery history. Their beef dates all the way back to 2018 when Ramsey referred to Hill as a “return specialist” when asked about matching up with the speedy receiver.
The two have met in a handful of big games over the years, but it appears whatever beef they once had has been squashed. Early in the game, Hill scored a touchdown by hauling in a Davante Adams lateral at the goal line. Ramsey, in an attempt to pull Adams’ flag, bulldozed into Hill as a result.
It’s clear that Hill hasn’t forgotten Ramsey’s comments from over four years ago, tweeting twice about the incident.
It was a light-hearted moment in a star-studded exhibition, though Ramsey’s NFC squad ended up winning the game. Hill’s sense of humor should be applauded, leading many wanting the NFL to change its in-game cell phone policy.
